The turnaround time for photos is 2-3 weeks. If you have gone beyond this point and have not received your photos, please reach out to us! It was most likely a technical glitch. We never go beyond that deadline.

What happens if it rains?

We would never want you taking photos in terrible weather conditions - heavy rain, thunderstorms, extreme temperatures. etc. We always keep close tabs on the weather and will usually make the official call the night before (sometimes prior if the weather prediction has remained consistently poor for a certain date). PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL the night before for weather changes. Also check your SPAM. We do not want you accidentally showing up for a session that was cancelled.

QUICK SHOWERS - Sometimes, especially in Florida, quick rain showers will pass through. In that case, if schedules will allow it, we can postpone the session for a few minutes until the rain passes. Many times that works out better than postponing the entire session. This is especially the case if it is an extended family session, when the family has out of town visitors who are only there temporarily. Then we will try to get them in if we can, between the rain showers.

STEADY INCLEMENT WEATHER - If the weather is calling for steady, inclement weather, we will email you with other mini session options that we have available. You can choose another slot and we will reschedule you.

What does "30+ proofs in an online gallery" mean?

This is the fully edited gallery that you will have access to view. It will contain over 30 photos from your session. From this gallery, you will be able to choose the images you would like to download that are included in your package. You will also have the option of purchasing more.
We like to provide clients with the opportunity to view and choose their own downloads (whereas other photographers may choose for you).

You will receive a style guide before your session (once you sign the contract and pay the first 50% of your invoice, this will be released in the days to follow). This will provide you with some ideas. We always suggest neutrals and soft tones because they are classic and timeless. You can hang those photos on your walls year round. They keep the focus on YOU and your beautiful family, Brighter colors and loud patterns take the eye's focus away from you and onto the clothing instead, Long, flowy dresses are the most flattering for women regardless of the season. They have great movement, photograph well and elongate the woman's shape. 

What if I don't know how to pose?

No worries! That's what we're here for. It's actually easier for us if you DON'T know how to pose, because we'll be able to direct you! We all have training in posing and share a prompting and posing guide. We will try our very best during every session to get photos of:
  • The whole family together
  • Mom with kids
  • Dad with kids
  • Kids together
  • Kids individually
  • Parents together
In your questionnaire, you will also be able to specify to us if you need more or less of certain poses. Don't be afraid to let us know of the session day as well! We want to serve you the best that we can, so let us know what you prefer/don't prefer.

We book our 30 minute full sessions in the summer and winter months. In fall and spring, we offer mini sessions. If you ever wanted a longer session during a mini season month, it is not uncommon for families to purchase two minis back-to-back to ensure they have enough time.

How is your work consistent if you serve across different states?

Everyone on the team has gone through and use:
  • The same training program
  • The same (or very similar) high end equipment
  • The same camera settings
  • The same posing guide
  • ALL photos are edited by ONE person
This structure is what creates the consistency in our brand. Each member of the team has been intentionally hand selected because we trust and they have proven that they can deliver a result consistent with the brand!

Can we bring pets?

Yes! Pets are welcome. We do ask that dogs that attend sessions are trained and on a leash. If certain locations have parameters around pets, we will let you know.
