1. Have a Good Time & Relax!

Although it is shorter than a regular photo session, it’s not fun to see clients stress out because they’re trying too hard to get that one “perfect shot”. Photos always come out best when you let loose, have fun, and genuinely enjoy the moments with your family. Yes, it comes across when you’re actually having fun! If you’re nervous about your little ones, don’t worry, our team has tons of experience with little ones and will do whatever it takes to get them to laugh – even if that means acting very silly.

2. Bring Something Special

This isn’t required, but is something sweet that can make your photos that much more special! Whether it’s a family heirloom, a favorite outfit, a headband from grandma, a special teddy bear or toy that your little one loves. Or something to just document the season of like you’re in, like an ultrasound picture of your baby-to-be or a special accessory.

3. Plan Something Fun for After Your Session

Now that you’ve gotten all dressed up and left the house, you might as well do something fun with your spouse and kiddos! Maybe you could go out for some ice cream, plan a day at the park, or hire a babysitter to have a date with your hubby! Having something planned for after the mini session is also a great bribe for getting the kids to smile during their photos! Whatever you decide to do, have fun! Enjoy this special time with your family.
